UMBC utilizes Accelerate (formerly MSDS Online) which is a comprehensive electronic SDS (Safety Data Sheet) database that includes the majority of hazardous chemicals used on campus and is available to all UMBC personnel working with hazardous materials. Employees should use the login credentials below to access MSDS online. Supervisors and Principal Investigators should contact UMBC ESH at esh@umbc.edu for assistance with setting up a managerial account which grants the ability to update the SDS inventory of hazardous chemicals utilized in their specific location(s) of work. MSDS online is a powerful tool that enables users to print secondary chemical container labels (How to Print SDS Labels on Accelerate) as well as create a chemical inventory (How to Create a Chemical Inventory Utilizing Accelerate).
