UMBC utilizes SciShield to provide an SDS database for hazardous chemicals used on campus and it is available to all UMBC personnel working with hazardous materials. Employees should use their standard UMBC login credentials to access Scishield. Once logged on users can search for a chemical SDS on the home page using the “SDS Search” box.
