Any research that takes place outside of the geographical boundaries of UMBC campus and poses hazards or potential hazards will require a field safety plan.
Field Safety Plan
Before starting any field work please complete a Field Safety Plan and submit it to esh@umbc.edu for review. If applicable, reference the hazard fact sheets linked below for specific safety controls. Once the Field Safety Plan review is complete, maintain a copy on site for laboratory personnel to reference.
